the cpmt examination is held every year for the admission to mbbs, bds, bhms, bams and bums courses in various government medical/ dental/ homeopathic/ ayurvedic and unani medical colleges of uttar pradesh

eligibility:
the candidate must be domicile resident of up
minimum age is 17, no limit on maximum
the candidate must have passed intermediate science( bio group) or equivalent examination. the candidates appearing in qualifying examination in the year of pmt are permitted to appear in cpmt. however, such candidates will have to produce their pass certificates at the time of counselling

seats:
mbbs: 659
bds: 51

notification; feb/march

test: may

exam:
the examination is held in two shifts
10 am to 12 noon: bio
2 pm to 4 pm: physics and chemistry
both papers contain 100 questions each
there is no negative marking

examination centres:
agra, allahabad, aligarh, bareilly, faizabad, ghaziabad, ghazipur, gorakhpur, jaunpur, jhansi, kanpur, lucknow, meerut, muzzaffarnagar, moradabad, noida, saharanpur and varanasi
new centres may be added depending on the conducting university
