the government of maharashtra shall conduct a single combined common entrance test MHT CET for all health sciences, engineering and pharmacy degree courses for the academic year 2009-2010.
for medical science dmer is the competent authority and for technical dte is the authority.

date of mht cet: may 7, 2009

important points:

• the qualifying examination for appearing for mht cet 2009 is HSC (10+2) or equivalent.
• candidates willing to fill in the forms must give their request to their respective school where they are pursuing 12th this year (or passed 12th earlier) positively before february 25, 2009
• sale and submission of application form: march 13, 2009 to march 25, 2009 at

1. respective jr college/highschool
2. at divisional authorities (for candidates who have passed 12th from outside of maharashtra)

• cost of application:

1. Rs 700 for open category and all ouside maharashtra candidates
2. Rs 500 for reserved categories of maharshtra only

• the candidates who anyhow could not collect the form from their schools should collect it from the office of divisional authority of his/her area by giving demand draft payable at mumbai worth the above mentioned fee in favour of "dmer, mh cet, mumbai"; but has to submit it through his/her school of passing 12th

domicile requirement:

• domicile is not required for the candidates who have passed both HSC and SSC from maharashtra
• domicile is required if candidate has passed SSC from any state other than maharashtra
